Former Knicks first-round draft pick Kristaps Porzingis practiced with the Mavericks on Monday. It was his first practice with Dallas since he was traded last week.

Despite getting time on the practice floor with his new team, Porzingis isn’t expected to play at all this season.
Porzingis did tell the Dallas media during his introductory press conference that his knee feels good.
āI feel great … Iām ready to get back on the court.ā

The Mavericks aren’t worried about this season. They want Porzingis and Luka Doncic to be Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki 2.0.

In order for that to happen they will need a healthy Kristaps.
