The Cubs annual convention kicked off on Friday night and despite trade rumors and the flu, third baseman Kris Bryant was there for the opening ceremony.
Of course, there were some Cubs fans who think Bryant is faking having the flu so that he wouldn’t have to hand around for the rest of the weekend’s festivities.

Bryant’s wife, Jessica, wasn’t happy at all about those rumors and fired back at the trolls on Twitter. She confirmed that the two of them are battling the flu.
