This year’s “Kobe Day” celebrations will include the release of Kobe Bryant‘s newest Nike Kobe A.D. model.
The shoes, which San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan recently debuted at the Drew League, will drop Aug. 24 with a price tag of $140, according to Sneaker News.
Bryant’s birthdate appears on the lacing of the right sneaker, while the left features his jersey numbers.
A Los Angeles Lakers version has also surfaced, though there’s no official release date for it yet.
Bottom line, Kobe still sells sneakers. I personally won’t wear any other shoe to play basketball. When you’re an NBA Legend, your shoe game never retires.
