Knicks President Steve Mills finally revealed what led to the Kristaps Porzingis trade. He told a crowd of fans at a fan forun event that the talented seven footer demanded to be traded or he was going back to Europe.
“He walked into my office and (GM Scott Perry) was sitting there with me, and point blank said to us, ‘I don’t want to be here. I’m not going to re-sign with the Knicks and I’m going to give you seven days to trade me or I’m going back to Europe.'”

You can’t blame Porzingis can you? The Knicks are a long way or a summer, or big name free agent signings away, from being good.
Dallas isn’t much better, but they do have a much better front office (basketball wise anyway) and some young talent.
