Knicks Head Coach David Fizdale Responds to “Fire Fizdale” Chants

Fizdale’s record in his two seasons as Knicks coach is now 18-71. He was axed after 19 games of his second season in Memphis in his last head-coaching stint after a 7-12 start in 2017-18 while feuding with center Marc Gasol.

Asked about Sunday’s jeers, Fizdale said, “I don’t think about that. I was more concerned about our performance from my seat. I can’t be caught up with how everybody else was feeling.”

Did anyone actually expect the Knicks to be good this season?  They aren’t the New York team that landed the top end free agents.  This team has a lot more sucking to do.
