The New York Knicks have fired coach Jeff Hornacek, the team announced Thursday morning. With her firing, Knicks fans will have to say goodbye to Jeff’s daughter Abby.
“Jeff is a true professional who has worked tirelessly for this organization the last two seasons,” Knicks president Steve Mills and general manager Scott Perry said in a joint statement. “We sincerely appreciate his efforts and considerable contributions to the team and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
What Knicks fans may not realize is, they had one of the sports world’s hottest daughters. Kind of creepy I know, but it’s the truth. Abby Hornacek is right up there in the Paulina Gretzky Mount Rushmore of athlete’s daughters.
She will certainly be missed. The Knicks are a mess. They really blew it by firing Hornacek, simply because his daughter was part of the package deal. She will most likely no longer root for the Knickerbockers. Let’s take a look at Abby below, she was a Knicks fan legend.
