On Sunday afternoon, Klay Thompson was asked about the potential end of the Warriors dynasty. Instead of shooting down the notion that Golden State’s run was about to be over, he seemed resigned to the fact.
With the Warriors down 3-1 in the NBA Finals, Thompson said everything that’s great comes to an end.
“You wish to have no end in sight, but everything that’s great always comes to an end. Whether that’s tomorrow or four years from now, you never know. You just gotta go out and enjoy every minute you do with the group of guys you got, because in professional sports, nothing is ever guaranteed.”

Technically he’s right. But he certainly sounds like someone who sees the writing on the wall. It also sounds like he expects a lot of changes in Golden State in the near future.
