ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit, who played quarterback for Ohio State in the early 90s, had thoughts on the Urban Meyer rally Ohio State fans held on Monday. His first thought was to point out that the reporter who broke the story isn’t employed by ESPN.
Because that is the most disturbing thing going on…
Ohhh boyyy.
Ummmm…..excuse me, woman to the right in the shades..Brett McMurphy, who broke the story, doesn’t work for ESPN. https://t.co/9XLGwcGo4K— Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) August 6, 2018
Thanks Kirk for that very important fact. We all know that Brett McMurphy no longer works for ESPN. We also know that ESPN tried extremely hard not to cover the story.
When called out for his idiotic tweet, Kirk responded by clearing things up or maybe just a vague tweet about “several” problems with the rally.
Among SEVERAL others. Just couldn’t resist https://t.co/AUfhNvUOHi
