Khabib Nurmagomedov has declared he would like to agree a two-fight deal with Floyd Mayweather, consisting of one boxing match and one MMA bout.
McGregor was stopped in the tenth when he boxed Mayweather, however Nurmagomedov believes he can make a better attempt, and also lure the elusive pound-for-pound great into the cage.
Via The Sun:
“If we make a bilateral agreement with Floyd Mayweather, the fans will be pleased,” he told beIN Sports.
Mayweather has teased a potential MMA rematch with McGregor in the past, however, after Nurmagomedov tapped him out, the undefeated boxer changed his target.
He has since talked up a bout with the Russian, but it seems unlikely he would agree to ever step into the world of the UFC, something Dana White want to see happen.
