“Hey, let’s go, Floyd,” Nurmagomedov said in a video posted on social media by DeJuan Blake. “We have to fight now. 50-0 vs. 27-0. Two guys never lose. Let’s go. Why not? Because in the jungle, only one king. Only one king. Of course, I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor but I drop him easily. Let’s go!”
The man standing beside Nurmagomedov in the video is Mayweather Promotions CEO, Leonard Ellerbe.
At the end of the clip, a smiling Ellerbe says, “You gonna get some of that work, baby.”
Mayweather stopped McGregor by TKO in the 10th round of their boxing match.
It’s hard to tell how serious Nurmagomedov is about the challenge, but it’s probably safe to say that if Mayweather is interested in the fight, the unbeaten UFC fighter would have a hard time saying no to the paycheck that it would bring.
