Looks like some rivalries won’t die.
Just because Conor McGregor has retired from MMA, that doesn’t mean he’s going to stop engaging with his enemy Khabib.
Khabib, who defeated McGregor at UFC 229, made a post last week thanking his fans for their support and teasing his return to the octagon.
Check it out below:
This caught the attention of McGregor, who took a shot at Khabib on Twitter by referencing the all-out brawl that erupted after their October fight and the subsequent $500,000 fine Khabib received for his role in the bedlam at T-Mobile Arena.
You got your money took and your brothers eye socket shook when you fought me you little rat.

Khabib wasn’t feeling Conor’s tweet, and jabbed back.
@TheNotoriousMMA money comes and goes, the honor that you lost that evening will never return, live with it.

Is McGregor’s retirement just a ploy to get a rematch with Khabib for Mayweather type money?
I wouldn’t be surprised if McGregor is doing everything he can for one more large payday.
Unless he’s really just over getting into an octagon for a living.
Only will time will tell.
