According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Warriors star Kevin Durant has already been ruled out for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. She also said KD’s calf strain will not be re-evaluated until Thursday, meaning he will also miss Game 2.
Kevin Durant is out for at least Game 1 of the WCF, source tells ESPN. He’s not being re-evaluated until Thursday so it’s “unlikely “ he plays Game 2 either.

Barring some sort of miracle where an evaluation on Thursday means he can actually play before the evaluation, KD won’t be on the floor for Game 2.
The Warriors should be just fine. That is if Steph Curry decides that he’s going to run around and shoot three pointers from all over the floor like he did to closeout the Rockets.
If he plays tight and bricks every shot attempt, which he does at times in the playoffs, then Golden State might be in a little bit of trouble. But not much, with or without KD the Warriors should be able to handle the Trail Blazers. The odds for game 1 of this Western conference finals show Golden States favored by 7.5 points at Realbookies.com/odds.
