On Wednesday Kevin Durant opted out of his contract with the Warriors. In addition to opting out of the $31.5 million final year of his contract, he also sold his oceanfront Malibu home.

NBA superstar Kevin Durant has wrapped up some business in Malibu, selling his oceanfront home on Broad Beach for $12.15 million.
Accounting for real estate commissions and other fees, the sale comes out as a bit of a wash for the 10-time all-star. He bought the place last year for $12.05 million, The Times previously reported in April.
It’s just another step to KD’s move east. The question is will the move be to the Knicks or the Nets? Or is New York just a smoke screen and is there another team he plans to sign with?
