Speaking with an all-business tone in his first press conference with his new team, LeBron James said the Los Angeles Lakers have “a long way to go” before getting on the same level as the Golden State Warriors.
LeBron said “We have a long way to go” before worrying about the Warriors.

“We are all new to each other, we have to take our bumps and our bruises,” James added. “There are going to be good times and bad times. If we continue to work the process and continue to sacrifice for one another and put in the commitment and time to being great, everything else will fall into place.”
This was the first time James has spoken to the Los Angeles media since signing with the Lakers in free agency in July.
Looks like KD is also feeling a little jealous of all the ‘Warriors’ type attention LeBron and the Lakers are receiving.
Kevin Durant says LeBron James and the Lakers are getting more attention because they are a "sexier story" than the Warriors despite the champs going for a three-peat. KD added that DeMarcus Cousins being out at the start of the season also has calmed the Warriors' spotlight.

Saying this is right in line with KD’s cupcake status. Talk about being insecure.
LeBron is happy living in Los Angeles, he’s not expecting the Chips to come easy, but he knew the hype and excitement would be there playing in the Purple and Gold.
