Kevin Durant played just 12 minutes in Game 5 before leaving with what appeared to be a torn Achilles. Those 12 minutes ended up costing him a lot.
KD will have an MRI on Tuesday that is expected to confirm that he tore his Achilles.

After the Warriors 106-105 win in Game 5, Durant was spotted leaving Scotiabank Arena on crutches and in a walking boot.

If KD did in fact tear his Achilles, then the injury will likely have a significant impact on his free agency plans. He risked a lot by taking the floor in Game 5 and it cost him more than potentially not playing in the NBA Finals.
