A recovering Kevin Durant visited the U.S. national team practice in El Segundo in California this week.
Durant, who opted to leave for Brooklyn after three seasons with the Warriors, milled about and addressed players who will be leading the Americans at the World Cup in China.

Durant, who was wearing a brace after Achilles surgery that will keep him out of the upcoming season, was the MVP of the 2010 World Cup gold-medal run for the U.S.
The team has had some problems in training camp and on Wednesday, they lost to a select squad full of G-League players, by a score of 36-17.

This result doesn’t bode well for the team moving forward and now, the coaches are doing everything they can to get everyone on the same page.
