Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has offered yet another update on Kevin Durant, and it’s not looking good.
According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, Durant is a longshot to be cleared for practice ahead of Game 2 which means he wouldn’t be able to play in that particular game, which goes down on Sunday.

So it’s now looking like the reigning two-time Finals MVP won’t be back for Game 1 or 2, but is supposedly making progress.
He isn’t practicing yet, but getting back on the court in any capacity is a critical development.

However, if he has already progressed to individual work, it’s very conceivable that Durant will play in Game 3, which would be Wednesday evening at Oracle Arena.
If the Warriors win both in Toronto, who knows, maybe they won’t bring him back at all?
