This is a broadcasting booth rules 101, always keep your phone on silent. During Wednesday’s Spring Training game with the Yankees, the Former Mets legend had his cell phone go off in the booth. 

Although it wasn’t an actual call, just a notification, Hernandez apologized, dealt with it with by being pretty funny, until a few seconds later, when his phone went off again. Oops.

Still to this day whenever I think of Keith Hernandez, I immediately think Seinfeld. That episode was an instant classic. Watch below to get a little taste. One of the best episodes of all time. Good think for him, I don’t think they even had cell phones back then.
