Kawhi Leonard is going to have to play some defense this offseason.
Kawhi Leonard filed a lawsuit against Nike back in June in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California in an attempt to reclaim control over a logo Leonard says he created.
The lawsuit alleges Kawhi wasn’t aware Nike had even filed a trademark for the logo until, while he was developing clothing using the icon, a representative for the brand sent him a cease and desist.
Now it appears Nike is striking back, and countersuing.
