Karl-Anthony Towns revealed in an emotional video that his mother is in a medically-induced coma due to the coronavirus. The Timberwolves star talked about his mother’s illness and how it continued to get worse before she was placed on a ventilator and then a coma.
Towns didn’t say exactly how long she’s been in a coma, but from the sounds of it, it’s been at least a few days. He encourages everyone to take the virus seriously and to stay home until the worst is behind us.
