NBA Legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the latest star to weigh in on the controversy around the way Bruce Lee was portrayed in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.
The NBA legend was a longtime friend of Lee, famously fighting him in the climax of the 1978 film Game of Death.
He feels that portraying Lee as a comedic prop for Brad Pitt was harmful to how he will be remembered by the culture at large.
