The only player to apologize for the Astros cheating scandal has been White Sox pitcher Dallas Keuchel, who was with the team back in 2017. All of the current Astros have let their manager and general manager take the fall.
Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve have been somewhat defiant in their responses to the matter. Now we have Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander cracking jokes about the cheating while accepting his Cy Young Award.
What a disgusting group of cheater. Verlander poked fun at the cheating scandal at the New York Baseball Writers’ Association of America dinner, “everyone knows the Astros are technologically and analytically advanced.”

As you might imagine that didn’t sit well with some, including CC Sabathia, who was in attendance and reportedly looked pissed after the comments.
