Patriots receiver Julian Edelman has a chance to have his PED suspension overturned on appeal. According to reports his sample is being analyzed further because the failure was triggered by an unknown substance.
It could either be a false positive or Edelman’s on a new substance that has yet to be identified.

Breer reported Monday that Edelman’s positive PED test “was triggered by a substance that wasn’t immediately recognizable.” Breer added that scientists are currently analyzing the test results to try to reach a determination.
Why would the NFL suspend Edelman without knowing what the substance was they were suspending him for? You really can’t put that kind of incompetence past the NFL, especially when it comes to the Patriots.
