Patriots receiver Julian Edelman played in his first preseason game on Thursday night. He missed several weeks while recovering from a broken thumb.
Edelman was forced to leave the Patriots preseason finale early with a hand injury. According to reports the injury is not related to his previously broken thumb.
The injury is considered a minor one and the Patriots are not concerned about it.
