Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen has been the center of trade rumors from the day Arizona hired Kliff Kingsbury as their head coach. All signs seem to point to that happening at some point before the season starts.
The latest sign came on Wednesday when the team released a hype video for the upcoming season and didn’t include a single shot of Rosen.
On Thursday, Sports Illustrated released an interview they did with the Cardinals 2018 first-round pick. He addressed the trade rumors.
“I definitely understand the situation. It is what it is, football’s a business.”
Rosen then made it clear that if traded, he will hold a grudge.
“It’s my duty to prove them right if they keep me, and prove them wrong if they ship me off.”

That’s exactly the attitude you want if you’re considering trading for Rosen. He’s going to come in motivated and ready to go. I don’t think there’s a team in the league who wouldn’t want that out of a quarterback.
There’s nothing like a good grudge. Who doesn’t respect the hell out of a good grudge? Letting things go is for losers.
