Redskins cornerback Josh Norman was praising Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold on Tuesday after another day of joint practice for the two teams.
Norman was impressed by Darnold’s ability to read the defense and not make the mistakes he was attempting to bait him into.
“Doggit, this little kid is not making mistakes. You get rookies in here and try to mess with them and bait them a little bit and he’s not having it. He’s impressed me and I didn’t want him to.”

It sounds like Norman’s been handed a little bit of that Sam Darnold Kool-Aid. Someone needs to tell him to back off of it a little before he starts putting the rookie in the Hall of Fame.
