Benches cleared in Atlanta on Monday night after Pirates pitcher Joe Musgrove hit Braves third baseman Josh Donaldson with a pitch. As Donaldson made his way to first base, he noticed Musgrove kept looking at him, so he asked him what he was looking at.
Donaldson’s question sparked escalated the situation and the benches cleared after he pushed catcher Elias Diaz out of the way. When things settled down both Donaldson and Musgrove were sent to the shower.

The early fireworks gave way to a 20 run game. The fans who decided to go to the ballpark were thoroughly entertained.
