The Nationals destroyed the Mets in Washington on Tuesday night. The 25-4 beating was so bad the Mets put Jose Reyes in to pitch.
Reyes had a rough night on the mound and came close to getting charged after he hit Ryan Zimmerman with a 54 MPH pitch.

It looks like the Nationals made the right choice by not making any moves at the deadline. Doing nothing set those bats on fire.
Is this the start of postseason run for the Nationals? Probably not, but it’s fun to watch their fans get excited for no reason.
