Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy was taken to the hospital to be evaluated for a concussion and a fractured nose.  He was knocked out cold after a collision at the plate with Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick.

Marisnick was called out on the play despite not being tagged out.  He lowered his shoulder while trying to avoid Lucroy and caught him on the chin.

The Astros ended up winning the game in the bottom of the 10th inning by the score of 11-10.  Hopefully Lucroy isn’t out of the lineup too long, because he was sleeping on the field and absolutely has a concussion.
