Jon Gruden is back on the sideline for the Oakland Raiders. His first encounter with a holdout in his return led to the holdout being traded before the season started.
According to Gruden, Khalil Mack is no longer with the Raiders because he “didn’t want to play here.”

That’s right, Gruden is saying because Mack was holding out that he didn’t want to be a Raider anymore. He might not understand what it means to holdout.
Even if it’s true, that doesn’t explain why the Raiders traded a proven, dominant defensive playmaker for draft picks.
