Former NFL star Johnny Manziel will be the starting quarterback for the Montreal Alouettes on Friday in what is certain to be ESPN’s largest audience for a CFL game.
The Alouettes host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

Manziel has been in the CFL since May, when he signed with the Tiger-Cats. Unable to get on the field in Hamilton, Manziel was traded to Montreal on July 23.
Friday’s game will be Manziel’s first start in a professional football game since he started for the Browns in a season-ending loss to the Chiefs on Dec. 27, 2015.
