On Wednesday afternoon Johnny Manziel sent out a tweet saying that he would play football for free. He added that it wasn’t about the money, it’s about getting back to what he loves and misses.

Reports are that in addition to “playing for free” Manziel is willing to prove himself on the practice squad.

Football coaches eat this kind of stuff up. If this doesn’t have more teams show an interest in the former first round pick not much else will.
I would say the chances he gets signed by an NFL team just improved greatly.
