Former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel made his AAF debut for the Memphis Express on Sunday. He got in for a handful of plays during the comeback overtime win over the Birmingham Iron.
Memphis fans wanted to see Manziel play and were chanting, “we want Johnny” before he entered the game. His first play from scrimmage was a 13 yard run.

Manziel finished his first AAF game 3-of-5 passing for 48 yards with two rushes for 20 yards. He flashed a little Johnny Football and despite not being on the field when the Express won the game in overtime, fans are going to want him on the field.
