Former Red Sox player Johnny Damon, who turned his back on Boston as a player and joined the Yankees, is still siding with New York. During an interview with TMZ Sports, Damon threw some shade at the Red Sox organization.
Not only did Damon pick the Yankees to beat Boston in their ALDS showdown, he picked them as the better organization. He praised the Yankees as an organization and for the way they take care of their former players.
There you have it from a guy who played for both teams. The Yankees are the better organization. We already knew that didn’t we?
