Kentucky head coach John Calipari, one of the first coaches to jump in on the one-and-done era, posted a video of his players practicing that he absurdly captioned with something about building his team.
We are starting to build our team. The big question is how do we get all these talented players to play together. It starts with having really good kids who understand that they have to be about their teammates. That competitive culture has brought out the best in our players. pic.twitter.com/5hq2SRLEWd

Minutes later he made sure you knew that he was taking shots at Duke and Coach K with a follow up tweet about a team promoting just two of their players.
We don’t promote two guys and push everyone else to the curb. This is about all these kids becoming their best version. As this team succeeds, we all become our best version. BIG TEAM, BETTER ME. And yes, we trademarked that.

Obviously, he is talking about Duke’s one-and-done stars R.J. Barrett and Zion Williamson. Man we’re glad the social media era came around while Calipari was still coaching.
Calipari is College Basketball’s perfect troll.
