Sixers big man Joel Embiid may not be physically ready for Game 1 of the postseason, but the mean the big man is still preparing for a comeback.
Embiid posted a picture to his Instagram story on Tuesday of himself wearing a mask. The All-Star center will likely need to wear a protective mask when he does return to action from an orbital fracture and a concussion.
"No one cared who I was till I put on the mask," @JoelEmbiid, probably. pic.twitter.com/LR94RP4zzJ

Naturally the jokes started rolling in, and people were having a field day with the potential mask Joel could be wearing.

Joel is getting over his concussion and should advance in the concussion protocol. Embiid also had a post-operative exam on his facial surgery, so obviously that will keep him out longer than it will take for him to move through the protocol.
Richaun Holmes and Ersan Ilyasova should benefit most while others get more usage while Embiid could be out for 1-3 more weeks. We need the Embiid in the playoffs like now.
