Pelicans guard JJ Redick admitted on his podcast, “The JJ Redick Podcast” that he created a burner Twitter account. But he didn’t create it for the usually reasons.
Redick wasn’t clapping back at haters from it or trying to pickup women. He claims he created the burner account to keep up with the NBA free agency.
The veteran guard switched teams in free agency himself. Redick left the 76ers, where he thought he would retire, and signed a two-year, $26.5 million contract with the Pelicans.
