Jimmy Butler’s Miami Heat debut will have to wait, as his Heat debut has been put on hold, with coach Erik Spoelstra announcing less than two hours before the 7:30 p.m. opening-night tipoff at AmericanAirlines Arena against the Memphis Grizzlies that the prized offseason acquisition would not be available.

We first broke the news of an impending child back in August.

This has lead some to believe he’s missing the game due to the birth of his child.
