Jim Kelly is recovering from surgery to remove cancer from his jaw and lymph nodes. Doctors used part of his fibula to reconstruct his jaw.
According to his wife his entire upper jaw had to be reconstructed and at the moment he can’t talk.
On Sunday Kelly took his first steps since Wednesday’s surgery. He also, with the use of a whiteboard, made sure to wish everyone a Happy Easter.
This is one tough dude. Let’s hope they got all of the cancer this time and the former Bills quarterback is able to live out his days cancer free.
