Zion Williamson is expected to be the Number 1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft. He was a dominant force in college, but there are some who don’t think he’ll be able to do the same in the NBA.
Count Syracuse head coach Jim Boehim among those who have doubts about Zion’s dominance at the next level.
Via NY Post:
In an appearance Thursday on MSG Network’s “MSG 150,’’ Boeheim said Williamson is a “once-in-a-lifetime player in college basketball.”
However, Boeheim cautioned: “He’s physical and you can’t match him. I think the NBA will match him a little bit better. I think he won’t be able to do some of the things he did in college.”
There were plenty of doubters who thought Zion wasn’t going to be able to dominate in college like he did in high school, he proved them wrong.
The young man is a freak of nature. There’s no doubt about it he’ll be able to do whatever he wants in the NBA.
