The fact that Dallas’ bye week came and went with out a new deal led the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport to report that the Cowboys quarterback was headed toward the franchise tag.
Jerry Jones disputed the NFL insider’s report on 105.3 The Fan. According to the Cowboys owner, “he has no idea.”
