“I’ve earned the right with Zeke to joke, period,” Jones said. “I’ve earned it.”
There’s a time and place to make jokes.
That wasn’t one of them.
Jerry can say whatever he wants, it’s his World, but that doesn’t mean it was the right thing to joke about.
Maybe he meant to say ‘I own the right’ to joke with Zeke?
