Linsanity was seven years ago and many have all but forgotten about Jeremy Lin. As he revealed in a recent interview, that includes security guards at NBA arenas.
Lin, who is now on the end of the Toronto Raptors bench, was stopped by security as he attempted to board the team bus following Game 2 in Milwaukee.
Via Bill Michaels Sports Talk Network:
“After Game 2 in Milwaukee, I was trying to get to the team bus and one of the dudes in the Milwaukee arena just screams at me. He’s like, “Where do you think you’re going?!” And I’m like, “Uh, I’m trying to get to the team bus.” He’s like, “What?! Where’s your pass?” I was like, “I don’t have a pass. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t have a pass.”
Lin says the incident following Game 2 isn’t the first time he’s had it happen to him and it probably won’t be the last if he still hangs on to a roster spot in the NBA.
It’s an unfortunate part of not playing much, but Lin’s had a pretty good career.
