Ahead of the film’s Sept. 13 release, writer-director Lorene Scafaria revealed to Vulture that Lopez prepared for the role of professional dancer Ramona by venturing to a strip club with her future husband.
“She and Alex went and visited a strip club, and she was able to give me some … insights,” Scafaria said.
