San Francisco Giants pitcher Jeff Samardzija lasted only 23 pitches on Tuesday night.  He exited the game with shoulder tightness after one inning and two runs allowed.

Samardzija was so unhappy with his performance and/or the injury that he snapped a bat over his knee like a twig.  It appears as if his legs are doing just fine.

Pretty impressive move by the right hander.  Maybe put that kind of effort into staying healthy and throwing strikes.  It’s just a thought.
