It was previously reported that Jay-Z played a role in getting the NFL to schedule a private workout for Colin Kaepernick. According to Dan Patrick, the rapper and NFL ambassador did more than play a role, he was the who pressured Roger Goodell to schedule the workout.
Jay-Z felt as if the league owed him for the criticism he took when he agreed to work on social injustice issues with the NFL. Whether or not the workout ends with Kaepernick back in the league is yet to be seen.
