Javy Baez is now running on every chance he gets no matter what, because he has mastered the swim move slide to avoid a tag.  On Wednesday he stole home on a pick off attempt of first base.

The pitcher threw over to first and Baez didn’t hesitate and immediately took off for home.  The ball beat him to the plate, but it didn’t matter because he hit the catcher with an incredible swim move.

I can’t stand the nonstop talk about his tagging ability, largely because it’s overrated.  This swim move slide is a freaking skill.
