Javier Baez Suffers a Fractured Thumb and Could Miss the Rest of the Season

MRI on SS Javier Baez’s left thumb revealed a hairline fracture. He will see Cubs’ hand specialist on Monday to determine a plan/timeline.

That would be a huge loss for the Cubs.  It’s an injury that if it extends into the postseason could have an effect on how well the Cubs do.
