The Packers struggled at home with the lowly 49ers on Monday night. They would end up winning after a drive late to setup the game winning field goal.
But it’s not the Packers performance that is worthy of the buzz. There was another performance on Monday Night Football that outshined them.
Jason Witten had an all-time performance in the booth. The former Cowboy turned broadcaster made up his own phrases.
The phrases Witten used were close to actual phrases, but he put a little Witten on them.

There’s bad broadcasters then there’s Jason Witten, he’s in a brand new class all by himself. At one point he called Aaron Rodgers, “Sam Rodgers.”
