Speak for Yourself host Jason Whitlock is finished at FSI after his contract with Fox Sports expired on Sunday and the two sides were unable to come to an agreement on an extension.
Whitlock, who joined FS1 in 2016, is looking into starting his own direct-to-consumer business, sources told The New York Post.
“Friday was Jason Whitlock’s last day with FOX Sports,” the network said in a statement. “We thank Jason for all of his hard work and dedication to the network, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

The 53-year-old hosted Speak for Yourself alongside Colin Cowherd and also worked as the show’s solo host before Marcellus Wiley joined the program as a new co-host in 2018.
Now he’s opening up about leaving, and apparently he wasn’t fired.
